Time: 0600z - 2359z Time: 0600z - 0000z VATSIM Minneapolis ARTCC formally invites you to join us for our 6th Annual Northern Migration! During this live event, we will provide 24 continuous hours of ATC to Minneapolis / St. Paul International Airport (KMSP). Starting with VATUSA Friday Night Ops on June 29th. The event takes place 29JUN 1900 CDT - 30JUN 1900 CDT (30JUN 0000z - 1JUL 0000z) We will be providing a flight booking system in an attempt to simulate real ops, however we welcome all traffic from local GA taking advantage of our plentiful satellite airports to heavy iron flying into Minneapolis. As always in anticipation of a large event, we ask that pilots ensure that they have up-to-date scenery for KMSP, including runway 17/35 and the associated taxiways. If KMSP is in a runway 30/35 flow, the ability to land aircraft on all three runways substantially increases our arrival rate per hour and will allow us to keep up with traffic demands, especially if the conditions are IFR. Runway 17/35 is not included in the default FS2004 scenery installation, and appears as under construction in FSX.
